When installing plastic windows consumer usually looks at the quality of the profile, accessories, glass and often do not pay attention to the mounting structure, and the node itself and its junction device, which is important part of evaluation. According to established practice, joints are filled with polyurethane foam without worrying about protecting it from ultraviolet radiation and moisture. Under the influence of these factors, the foam loses its basic properties - heat and sound insulation, with all its consequences - as a result,  freezing of the seam, the formation of condensation and, consequently, the formation of mildew on the slopes, and other damages, can lead to destruction of the structure itself. All of this happens as a result of a false economy and reduction of the cost of construction.

INSTALLATION IN WINDOWS GOST 30971-2002 "joints assemblies  contiguity window units and the wall openings"

Nominal dimensions and configuration of window openings must meet the requirements of the design documentation.

The edges of the openings and the surfaces should not be chipped, sinks, sagging from solution or other damages, height and depth of the damage no greater than 5 mm. Defective places shall be filled with water-resistant formulations. Loose and crumbling parts are hardened.

Before installation inside seam surface, the insulation materials and designs window openings should be cleaned from dust and dirt, and in winter conditions of snow, ice and frost.

To protect the installation of the seam area, from possible condensation we recommend the use the following:

From inside the room:

Plastilent tape mark LM isolates 200h1, 5h3. Mounted around the inner perimeter of the slope with overlap by a quarter. This tape also protects the assembly seam from freezing.

Tape LM oak (reinforced nonwoven fabric with two mounting joints on both sides of the tape), tape LM NP (reinforced nonwoven web over the entire width), tape LM L (reinforced metallized film).

From the outside, for waterproofing, under the sill

Tape LM dif "breathable" (reinforced nonwoven fabric with two strips of adhesive sealant).
