The road  repair tape "PLASTILENT-LD" is issued in various standard sizes, it is isolated by anti-adhesive compound, reeled up in rolls, packed into a corrugated tare.

Purpose of USE:

The tape road bituminous and caoutchouc "PLASTILENT-LD" is used for repair of a paving (patching, elimination of cracks in asphalt) for consolidation and ensuring reliability of joints of sites of an asphalt paving.

It is applied:

• when performing longitudinal connections of parallel strips of the road;

• for binding of main and repaired sites of the road;

• for binding of the curb stones and the cut-outs of trenches;

• for binding between the existing and new layers of road surfacings.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Bitumen-caoutchouc road repair tape "PLASTILENT-LD" is the material that is ready for application. Due to elasticity, flexibility the tape maintains compression and expansion of the materials used for the road systems. The tape material is self-adhesive and don't require obligatory heating, easily keeps within, it isapplicable for use on to coverings from asphalt, asphalt concrete.

Way of application:

• Road surface must be cleaned of  dust, dirt and moisture;

• Inflict on hollow sidewalls a bituminous primer of "PLASTILENT" by using a brush;

• Within 20-30 minutes apply the "PLASTILENT-LD" tape, on previously primed side of wall's and press manually or by hammer (kiyanka);
• Densely fill in gap with asphalt mix.
